BKMEA-EPB Project Overview and Objectives:

Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BKMEA) has been implementing skill development program for existing RMG worker & Management since 2010 in collaboration with Export Promotion Bureau (EPB). The name of this project is “Training Program for Capacity Building for RMG worker and management staff”. This training program is being funded by Bangladesh Ministry of Commerce (MOC) and directed by Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) and implemented by BKMEA. This initiative training program is reflect on the capable of driving innovation, productivity, high quality and sustainable growth in the Knitwear sector.

Objectives of the BKMEA-EPB Training Program:

The primary objectives of this training program is to empower the worker & managements with the high knowledges, skills and competencies required to in various roles with the knitwear sectors. The training program encompasses a series of skills development activities covering a wide range of topics relevant to the knitwear industry, including Garments production techniques, quality controls system, and Supply chain managements, materials controlling techniques, workplace safety & compliance. These training program are designed to equip workers & managements with practical skills and knowledges that are directly applicable to their roles on the knitwear sector.

The BKMEA-EPB training Program has started 2010 and will be continue to 2025. BKMEA has completed at Management trainee-2080 Person & Worker trainee- 6750 Person. After the training program the Management and the worker are contribute to increase the factory efficiency, productivity and quality.

The BKMEA-EPB Worker & Managements training program represents a significant step towards building a more skilled, knowledgeable and empowered workforce in Bangladesh’s Knitwear industry. These training program are contribute to enhance the worker & managements skills, productivity, efficiency and quality.
